How It Works

The Stud Process

A clear, professional path from first enquiry to a successful litter.

01

Initial Enquiry

Contact us with your female's details — registration, pedigree, age, and health history. We'll discuss whether the match is suitable.

02

Documentation

Provide KUSA registration papers, current vet certificate, and Brucella canis test results for our records.

03

Progesterone Testing

Work with your vet to track progesterone levels. We coordinate timing once ovulation is confirmed.

04

Mating

Bring your female to our Centurion home for two natural matings, typically 48 hours apart. Supervised and stress-free.

05

Pregnancy & Beyond

We offer guidance throughout pregnancy and whelping. Litter registration assistance and lifetime support included.

Terms & Conditions

Stud Service Agreement

Our terms protect both your female and our studs, ensuring ethical, responsible breeding.

We offer stud services exclusively to KUSA-registered Yorkshire Terrier females with a certified pedigree. Registration papers must be sighted before any mating is arranged.

Breed Standard

The Yorkshire Terrier

We breed to the KUSA standard — these are the qualities we strive for in every IRMADU Yorkie.

01

General Appearance

A long-coated toy dog, compact and well-proportioned, carrying itself with an air of importance. The Yorkshire Terrier is a true 'big dog in a small body'.

02

Size & Weight

Must not exceed 3.2 kg (7 lbs). Ideal weight 1.8–2.7 kg (4–6 lbs). Quality is never sacrificed for size.

03

Coat & Colour

Hair on body moderately long, perfectly straight, glossy fine silky texture. Colour: dark steel blue (not silver blue) from occiput to root of tail; rich golden tan on head, chest and legs.

04

Head & Expression

Small, flat skull; short muzzle; bright, intelligent dark eyes with dark eye rims. Ears small, V-shaped, carried erect. The expression is alert and keen.

05

Temperament

Spirited, intelligent and devoted. Despite its size, the Yorkie retains the terrier's boldness and makes an alert, lively companion.
